Magnolia Delight

Magnolia Delight

$5.00

Brilliant pink magnolias bloom in the garden behind the Smithsonian Institution Castle, in the heart of our nation’s capitol. The flowering trees line the garden’s parterre, and create a dreamy arched entry to the Moongate Garden and the Fountain Garden on either side.

The Enid A. Haupt Garden is actually a rooftop to museums below ground.

The pink magnolias usually come in mid to late March, and their arrival announces that the cherry blossoms will soon reach their peak.

A splendid early spring sight to behold that lasts barely a week.
