Pretty in Pink!
This fabulous pink house is a little further down the street from Rainbow Row (79 – 107 E Bay St). With picturesque wrought iron gates, real fire in the lamps, and perfect greenery, you’ll want to prioritize a stroll down East Bay Street (one block up from the water) any time of day for photos of this gorgeous place.
Explore a Centuries-old Plantation and Gardens
For golden afternoon light, dreamy moss, and lush greenery, look no further than the centuries-old Avenue of Oaks at the historic Boone Hall Plantation.
The Avenue of Oaks is nearly a mile-long stretch of live oak trees that were first planted in the 1740s, leading the way to a Colonial Revival style home. Explore the antebellum mansion and experience the rhythms of farm life, walk the brick pathways through gorgeous gardens, and shop fresh, locally-made products.
Boone Hall Plantation is a quick 25 minute drive from downtown Charleston.

on the Awe-inspiring Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge

When the Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge opened in 2005, it became the longest cable-stayed bridge in North America, and the tallest structure in South Carolina.
Palmer Home
Just around the corner from White Point Gardens (below) is the historic Palmer Home, dating from the 1840s.
The mansion's grand façade, complete with columns and intricate details, offers a timeless backdrop for photos. The surrounding gardens, filled with lush greenery, colorful flowers, and a fountain, provide a beautiful, natural setting for portraits and landscape shots.
